Generally, and in most cases, we use Primelase HR platform which is designed to work with an applicator that has combined wavelengths (810nm, 940nm + 1060nm) to remove hair permanently and safely. The primelase HR platform was developed based on the latest advances in aesthetic medicine with the aim of providing greater versatility and precision in treatments. The combination of its wavelengths means that all kinds of patients can be treated without limitation of phototype, hair type, or time of year with maximum effectiveness and security.
Primelase HR works using exclusive USP (Ultra Short Pulse) technology which enables the delivery of ultra short pulses (up to 3 ms) making it the device with the shortest available adjustable pulse width in the market.

What can I expect during the procedure?
A sensation which is similar to a rubber band snapping on the skin. Ideally, you should be able to bear it. If not, request for topical anesthesia.
Post-treatment care?
Use a soothing ointment like aloe vera gel, or creams suggested by Dr Atula to cool down certain side effects like redness, swelling, or bumpy skin texture. Avoid going out in the sun, exercising, or any sweat producing activity for upto 48 hours.
Do I need to get it done again?
Laser hair reduction requires multiple sessions. About 6-8 treatments are generally recommended but it also depends on the characteristics of your hair and treated area.
